I've just seen something good about the oval ball game!

The opening graphics and music at the start of ITV's coverage - very good!

After the match with Tonga the French team might as well pack their bags and creep back home. They've lost the plot! Even if they have scraped throught to the play-offs

France v England - one is my home of choice one is my home by birth. Looks like I'm onto a winner for this match at least :lol:

Let's hope that at least one of them actually manages to play a decent game of rugby this time in place of the crap that they have been playing! Both teams should consider themselves fortunate not to have had Samoa in their group otherwise it may have been a different story. :roll:

A pity that Wales and Ireland are playing each other - should be an exciting match though. SA v Aus and NZ v Argentina are also mouth watering prospects. Again, it's a pity that Argentina are up against the All Blacks. Should be a good weekend of rugby - that and Japanese GP on Sunday and this girl's in heaven! :lol:

Wales were a better team against Ireland 22 10

And France kept up the pressure against England 19 12

Oh, I think the Wales-Ireland game was the better match from a pure Rugby point of view. I thought England played pretty poorly for most of the game and I don't think either of those two would stand a chance against Aus or SA.

Anyway, I'm reverting to being an All Black supporter for the rest of the competition.

That was a shame for South Africa. It would have been a nice story had they won - and up until the end it looked as if they might.

Argentina played a really good game too - they should be proud of their effort.

Nice idea LC, no Te Kahu but I do have some bottles of the finest Chardonnay ever made in New Zealand - Neudorf Moutere 2004.

Might save it for the final though. We're reaching those stages where the All Blacks have choked before. Are Wales the one to do it?

I thought the Boks were refereed out of that match. Very dodgy penalty decision.

Looking forward to this morning's match. I have a feeling Wales will play with far more passion and disciplne than England did last week. Whether France play well is anyone's guess, they are so variable.

Sure, but they just about scraped a win despite having a one player advantage for most of the game. We spent the last fifteen minutes hurling advice (abuse?) at the TV.

Only consolation is that Les Bleus seem to play good and bad games alternately. So next time out they should be on top form.

I thought les Bleus might pull something off next Sunday BEFORE I watched the match this morning. It just served to remind me how good the Kiwis are.

Any chance we could get all the good people at Lourdes to pray for another miracle. How about a deranged ref giving half the All Blacks team red cards?

Yes, I think France has had two lucky breaks but I forsee their good fortune running out next Sunday. This is an All Black squad that is more about winning and determination than flair. The game against Australia wasn't pretty but the ABs dominated the game in almost every respect.
