Even the poor can watch it because the first match is on ITV.

Just watching the display of total dominance by the All Blacks over Japan.

French supporters, please take notes on how you are supposed to deal with teams like Japan in the World Cup.

Looking forward to Australia-Ireland tomorrow. I hope the Irish can manage that extra point that denied Wales beating the Boks last week.

Whilst newer nations have to play competitive matches to get on, I do wonder at the total mismatch of a game like this.
Having said that, I thought Japan were really good against the French. I have never seen the ball played so quickly and consistently as the Japanese did during that game.
I guess I've answered my own question.

Sounds like you did, Alex.

I'm sort of looking forward to Sunday morning. Son in law is Samoan, partner is French and I'm English.

Trouble is, we're supposed to be out for the day - not quite sure we're going to get out as early as planned!!!! :?

I don't know what the TV coverage is like in France, but ITV's is very poor imho - most of the commentary is very poor and the microphones obviously badly placed as you can sometimes hardly hear what they are saying above the noise of the crowd and the ref and players. The picture quality isn't too good either. And the adverts are really annoying. I wish the BBC and Brian Moore were doing it !

I did notice that the Northern Hemisphere teams seem to giving away a lot of penalties.

... is that normal?

For 5 games!!!!!.

Later this season you'll have the pleasure of watching James Hook (injured against Samoa)

I have had the pleasure of watching him playing in the same teams as my son and son in law.

Great world cup so far.

All set for tomorrow.

I'll watch AB v France on ITV HD. Not quite the same ambiance as French TV for this particular match but a much better quality picture.

French defence doesn't seem to be able to move fast enough for those All Blacks.

I can't see NZ losing this match now.
