Free VPNs

Postby peter » Fri Jun 05, 2015 10:08 pm

VPN's
For the last few years I've been using Zenmate to watch BBC iplayer, etc
It has now dropped UK as one of its IP locations and offered a subscription.

I'm playing with Tunnelbear, but monthly bandwidth is restricted.

Anyone know of a link to a good free VPN service ?

Thanks for that.

It works OK now ... I'll try it again tonight when my speed tends to slow.

There's an article on this site saying that free VPNs could be used to track your personal information, like online banking logon details.

http://lifehacker.com/how-do-i-know-if- ... -508866499 will give more information on how to judge a VPN. However, I find it incredible that a bank's system allows passwords to be sent in the clear; in fact, it's just not possible. 'Bruce' is talking bollox.
