Very high 2F Signal yesterday

Postby montgolfiere » Sat Sep 21, 2013 6:09 am

It appears that 2F signal has returned to the level of maybe March where, (even in my location 50Kms south of Carcassonne), on a 'old' 85cm.dish, it was receivable for part of the day. How this will develope we dont know and how it will relate to 2e is also to be observed when it finally comes into service.

Despite some winds and cloud I've been receiving very good reception on "those" channels for a while now.

Could be a storm in a teacup ?

I am afraid in at least most of the Region, the Signal level will require bigger Dishes even if the signal remains at recent levels.
Perhaps at the Montpellier level the signal will be sufficient. Chez Moi ,even with a 120cm. Dish, reception has been lost from time to time over the past couple of Months.
