Sommieres chateau reopened

The chateau at Sommieres has had ongoing renovation works for quite some time. A larger project costing some €486,000 has just been completed and the derelict chapelle royal Saint-Saveur has now been restored.
The chateau will be open to the public from 9 June 2015 to 20 September 2015 (except Tuesdays) with opening hours 10h to 19h (last tour starts 18.00).

The visit includes the chapelle with audio visual historical display, guided visit of the courtyard and ramparts, free access to the tower, an area for children to learn about the chateau. There will also be childrens workshops and temporary exhibitions.

Entry is free 19,20,21 June and 19 & 20 September as part of national open day schemes.
Normal tarifs are :

Full : €5
Students, unemployed, handicapped, children aged 6 to 12 : €3
Children under 6 : free
