Water Restrictions

Postby JaneandAlan » Sat Jun 23, 2012 2:54 pm

Does anyone know the latest on water restrictions in the Herault? We have a watering system that we did not turn on when we were at the house in April. We are due back in a couple of weeks and we wondered if anything had changed?

Many thanks

Well your plants have probably died, I had the impression that seep- hoses (which only use a trickle of water every 2 or 3 days) were not banned, they use such a tiny amount and then only at night.

On a more positive note the weather has been reasonably cool until a week ago and there has been rain every week or two.

I understand that you can water plants/lawns/gardens from roughly dusk to early morning. Don't have a garden, but think it a bit bizarre given the restrictions mean you can't was a vehicle (even at night............).
