Hi everyone, Just to remind you that Saint Jean du Gard hosts the Journées de l'Arbre, de la Plante et du Fruit this coming weekend. This year, the theme is olives and spices. The festival takes place at the Espace Paulhan on Saturday and Sunday, Nov 28 and 29, from 9h30 to 18h. It’s a fun winter event, with great food, lots of interesting stands, and an amazing diversity of fruit and veg. There’s music, too, and the talks include one on the secrets of saffron and one on mixing spices. There’s a video projection about olive growing in Palestine. If you want to go to the debates on Friday about biodiversity in olive growing, you’ll need to sign up. (They take place at the Salle du Mont Brion, 10h to 17h.)
