Further afield, I saw that the Montpellier Xmas "huts" are being assembled in Place de la Comedie.

| there is one this sunday at the chateau de cassan just outside roujan, last year it was very busy and it is worth the 2 euro entrance fee as normally you haev to pay a lot more to see the chateau (it is not just english things on sale) |

Yes, the Chateau de Cassan Xmas Fayre was great last year, and lovely things for sale French and English. I would advise getting there early, as it was somewhat crowded. Wear comfortable shoes as the floors are v. uneven.
