yesterday we took the scenic route back from Carcassonne and noticed that the canal was empty! is this normal ?
it was ok at Capestang. |

Sandra, they can drain sections for maintenance.
The dates must be published somewhere as a sort of "notices to mariners" but I haven't found it.
Anyone got an inland waterways craft ?

This has been planned for a long time as necessary maintenance. The boats which normally wintered in Carcassonne have had to find alternative winter quarters this year, but they were given plenty of notice. _________________ James |
